Everything Salmon
Ingredients:
2lbs of salmon
1 tbsp honey mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
“Everything Bagel” seasoning (Trader Joe’s, Farm boy, etc)
Olive or avocado oil
*Tip: make sure to get your fishmonger to portion and de-bone for you!
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
In a small bow add a teaspoon of water to the 1 tbsp of honey mustard (to thin it out) and stir. This mixture will act as a binder for your seasoning. Brush the top (flesh side) of the salmon equally on all pieces with the honey mustard mixture, then season with salt and pepper to taste and the Everything Bagel seasoning. Make sure your cover the entire top of the piece.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (we find this prevents the salmon skin from sticking), and add a dash of olive oil on top. Brush it around the parchment then lay the salmon down on top.
Place the pan on the bottom rack of the oven for 15 minutes and broil for the last 5 minutes.
Serve with a side of your choice — we love rice and broccoli!
